Quotehedge Heating: Squarespace Website Rebuild & Ongoing Growth

A Squarespace website rebuild and ongoing support for Quotehedge Heating, a Gas Safe-registered heating company in Wandsworth, London, serving commercial and domestic clients. Martin Withcombe came to me with an old Joomla website that no longer did justice to the business. Together, we replaced it with a modern Squarespace site, and we’ve kept building it up ever since.

Where it started

Quotehedge has been looking after boilers and heating systems across London for years, but you wouldn’t have known it from the old website. It was built on Joomla, looked dated, and didn’t show the quality of work the team does every day. Martin wanted a site that looked as professional as his engineers are, and he wanted it to be easy for people to pick up the phone.

The rebuild

I like to start by listening, so I spent time learning how Quotehedge works, who they work for, and what matters to their clients. We built the new Squarespace site around that: clear services, real projects, accreditations front and centre, and a call button that’s never more than a tap away. It’s a focused site, and every page earns its place.

After launch

I don’t think a website is finished the day it goes live. A couple of weeks after launch, I ran a full health check on the new site and sorted the small fixes the same day, so the business started its new chapter on solid ground.

What’s next

Martin and I are already talking about where the site goes from here. On the table are a dedicated page for each service, detailed write-ups of individual projects, and a portfolio you can browse by work type. It's all about helping more of the right people find Quotehedge on Google.

Still going strong

It’s been a pleasure working with Martin, and his kind words genuinely made my week. This is the kind of client relationship I love: a good business, a site that keeps getting better, and a team that’s easy to work with.

Run a heating, plumbing or trades business? I’d love to hear about it.
